LINK vs Pepperi: a full B2B sales suite or a wholesale catalog you run yourself

Pepperi is a unified B2B commerce platform for brands and distributors: a buyer portal, a native app for sales reps, route accounting for van sales, retail execution and trade promotions, all in one system. Its site says it serves more than 1,000 medium and enterprise customers in 65+ countries, and since 2024 it has been part of Advantive, a software group for manufacturers and distributors.

LINK sits at the other end: a wholesale catalog shared as one link, with per-customer price lists, minimums and case multiples, for small brands and distributors that want to start taking orders this week. This page compares the two honestly, including where Pepperi is clearly the better tool.

Pepperi details come from its public product pages, checked on November 4, 2026. Its former pricing page no longer loads, so any number you see elsewhere is a third-party estimate.

What Pepperi does well

Pepperi is built around the field. Sales reps carry account history, catalogs and promotions in a native mobile app, take orders at the store and sync when they are back online. For direct store delivery, the same app runs van sales: route planning, stock loaded on the truck, returns, printed invoices, payment collection and proof of delivery, with geo-tracking for route compliance.

On top of that sit retail execution (store audits, photos, shelf compliance and assets), trade promotions that apply across the portal, the rep app and inside sales, and analytics on targets, sell-through and promotion performance. Its customer list leans toward food and beverage, FMCG, health and beauty, eyewear, jewelry and watches, and home and gift.

Pepperi pricing

Pepperi does not publish a price list. On November 4, 2026 its old pricing address returned a “page not found” and the site sends visitors to a demo or to sales. Software directories quote per-user monthly figures, but they disagree with each other and are not confirmed by Pepperi, so we do not repeat them here.

Treat that as pricing on request, and ask for the full picture in writing: price per user, minimum number of users, implementation and integration fees, which modules are included and the contract length. For a platform with this scope, a quoted, multi-module price is normal.

Where Pepperi is the better choice

If your reps work in places without signal, sell from a van, collect payment on delivery or audit shelves in supermarkets, Pepperi covers that and LINK does not. The same applies if you need promotions engineered across every channel, or orders that sync automatically into an ERP as part of a larger back office.

  • Field teams that need a native app that works offline
  • Direct store delivery and van sales with stock on the truck
  • Retail execution: store visits, audits and photos
  • Several channels and an ERP that must stay in sync

Where LINK fits better

LINK is for brands that sell to boutiques, resellers and distributors and need a clean way to take wholesale orders without an implementation project. Import products from a spreadsheet, assign a price list to each customer, set an order minimum, per-product minimums and case multiples, and share one link by email, SMS, Instagram DM or WhatsApp. Buyers open it in any browser with no app and no account.

Pricing is published and flat: from $9/mo, or $29/mo on Complete, with no commission on orders. Sales reps can log in with their own permissions and take orders from a phone or tablet browser. You can try everything for 30 days without a credit card.

What LINK does not do

To be clear: LINK has no native offline app, no route accounting, no retail execution and no trade promotion engine. It does not process payments; you agree payment and shipping directly with each buyer. If those are your core needs, LINK is not a Pepperi replacement.

How to decide in ten minutes

Count where your orders are taken. If most come from buyers ordering on their own, or from reps sending a link, a catalog is enough. If most are taken in the store by a rep, often without signal, you need a field sales app.

Then count systems. If orders must land in an ERP automatically, ask Pepperi for an integration quote. If a spreadsheet export or an API you connect later is fine, start light and keep your customer list portable.

Third-party prices and policies checked in November 2026. They change; confirm on each vendor’s site before deciding.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Pepperi cost?

Pepperi does not publish pricing on its site; it is quoted by sales. Figures in software directories are third-party estimates, so ask for a written quote covering users, modules, implementation and contract length.

Who owns Pepperi?

Pepperi is part of Advantive, which announced the acquisition in July 2024. The product continues under the Pepperi name.

Does Pepperi work offline?

Yes. Pepperi describes its native mobile apps for iOS and Android as working online and offline, including for route sales and retail execution.

What is a simpler Pepperi alternative for a small brand?

If you need per-customer prices, minimums and an order desk rather than field sales and DSD, a flat-fee wholesale catalog like LINK is the lighter option, from $9/mo with a 30-day free trial.

Does LINK have a mobile app for reps?

Reps get their own login and use LINK in the phone or tablet browser. There is no native offline app, so reps need a connection to submit orders.
